The H-260U is a high performance internal print server for connecting HP LaserJets and other printers that have an Enhanced I/O (EIO) slot to 10Base-T/100Base-T neetworks. The H-260U supports all popular network printing protocols, and it is compatible with the HP Web JetAdmin utility  and SNMP for device control and management. It is ideal for handling the printing requirements of enterprise networks, but is also a cost-effective solution for SMB and SOHO networks.   

The H-260U is uniquely designed to simultaneously connect two printers on the network, the HP EIO printer plus a USB-compatible printer. It is one of the first print servers to simultaneously support IPv6 and IPv4, ensuring that it  will be compatible with current and future TCP/IP networks.  The H-260U also supports advanced features such as access control using IP filtering to prevent unauthorized use of network printers. To improve network printer management, the H-260U can monitor the printer status for paper out or error conditions and send an E-mail message to you when such conditions occur.  In addition, the H-260U can retrieve E-mail from the mail server and print it on the networked printer without requiring a PC.
