A PC card type fingerprint reader. The FIC-200 with its pop-in/out sensor is ideal for laptop PCs and PDAs with a PCMCIA slot. The FIC-200 can be inserted from either right or left side of your PC. Fingerprint authentication software can be used to protect information by preventing unwanted access to PCs and computer networks.

Minutiae matching. High quality matching software achieves False Rejection Rate (FRR) of 0.1% and False Acceptance Rate (FAR) of 0.001%. Minutiae data is only used for matching thus privacy is secured. * FIC-200 is non-intelligent type of sensor. Software for finger print data entry, minutiae matching the verification process reside on PC.
