Fingerprint SDK

Software Developer Kit for Fingerprint authentication and verification

Fingerprint SDK
  • Overview
  • Features
  • Specifications
To implement a user's application with fingerprint authentication and verification, the SDK includes a library and driver software.

Steps for fingerprint authentication

Step 1 Acquire optimized fingerprint image from a sensor.
   step1
Step 2 Get minutiae data by calculating fingerprint image.
Then extract the quality level.
   step2
Step 3 Verify registered minutiae data with acquired minutiae data.
Then return theresult.
   step3
Minutiae matching
High quality of matching software achieves False Rejection Rate (FRR) of 0.1% and False Acceptance Rate (FAR) of 0.001%. Minutiae data is only used for matching thus privacy is secured.
Dry-fingers and wet-fingers
The auto-gain-control software supports both dry-fingers and wet-fingers.
The quality of minutiae data
The quality of enrolled fingerprint data is translated into percentage that represents a level of quality visually.
The level of security
The security level is to set variable from low to high (5 level).
Support any angle of finger placement
A fingerprint authentication technology supports 360-degree and any angle finger placement.
Small size of minutiae data
The data size of minutiae is designed 120 to 360 bytes. The data is encrypted thus a fingerprint image can not be restored and be secured.
