The Silex SX-6K3-EVK AR6003 WLAN radio evaluation kit allows you to easily evaluate the Silex SX-SDPGN WLAN radio.

The SX-6K3-EVK-SB combines the Freescale i.MX53 Quick Start Board running Ubuntu Linux and the SX-SDPGN 802.11b/g/n radio on an SDIO card. Pre-loaded with the SX-SDPGN driver and the most common utilities the SX-6K3-EVK-SB has everything needed for evaluation and regulatory testing.

To simplify evaluation, the SX-6K3-EVK-SB boots directly into the GNOME desktop and inlcudes step by step instructions for setup and testing.

• A utilty is included to set the radio to specific operation modes to facilitate RF testing

Regulatory driver

• A separate driver is included to perform specialized functions needed for pre-certification testing, such as continuous transmit on a single frequency

Test mode script

• A test mode script is provided to easily switch the unit between regular operation and the regulatory test mode
