With the Silex SX-Virtual Link SDK for iOS in conjunction with Silex USB device connectivity solutions, USB Device Manufacturers and Systems Integrators can allow virtually any USB Device to be connected wirelessly from iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch.

The Silex iOS SDK allows iOS devices to connect wirelessly, using TCP/IP networking, to USB devices attached to Silex SX-Virtual Link enabled devices. The SDK code is a set of libraries designed to allow USB device manufacturers or system integrators to create an “App” which will communicate to the USB device over the network using the SDK.
The Silex iOS SDK includes:
- Silex iOS SDK Installation instructions
- API Specification and Documentation
- Library code files
- Sample applications for programming reference
- Silex can provide support and porting assistance
Example applications include USB TV Tuners, USB Cameras and Video Equipment, USB Multifunction printers, Scanners, Printers, Bar Code/RFID scanners, POS/Retail equipment, and more.
