Silex Technology to Feature wiDock at Macworld 2007

wiDock Gives iPod® Users the Ability to Wirelessly Transfer Songs and Videos

SAN FRANCISCO (Macworld 2007; North Hall #4405) – Jan. 9, 2007– SILEX TECHNOLOGY today announced it will be showcasing wiDock at Macworld Conference & Expo 2007, Jan. 9-12 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

wiDock is the first solution to transfer songs and videos to an iPod® wirelessly, while connected to a stereo and TV, becoming an integral part of the living room entertainment system.

With wiDock, there is no more moving the iPod back and forth between the PC/Mac and living room to sync with iTunes. Users can wirelessly sync with a computer, play music from the stereo, play videos on the TV and charge the iPod battery. wiDock is the only place users will need to dock their iPod.

wiDock has been well received among consumers and media. A recent article on Zune-Online.com states, “No, Apple didn’t add WiFi support in the iPod yet, but a new dock makes iPod nearly what we imagine the Zune to be. The wireless center of home entertainment: Wifi sync, recharging, audio & video out, remote control. Isn't wiDock the Zune's dream?”

The article goes on to say that wiDock is “every player's dream at home -- to be able to connect wirelessly to a hotspot and sync with a PC while connected to a home entertainment system.”

Availability and Additional Information

wiDock is currently available from SILEX TECHNOLOGY and retail stores nationwide for $149. For more information on SILEX or wiDock, please visit the SILEX booth located in the North Hall #4405. Users can also visit www.silexamerica.com.
