Install Application (for Macintosh)

This page explains how to install the user software Dock Link.
Dock Link is the application that connects/disconnects the iPod with the computer.

This section explains the procedures to install the bundled application. Follow the steps described below when Dock Link is not installed into your computer. If you have completed the initial configuration and continue to install the application, go to 4 in this section.

After installing Dock Link, the computer will be restarted. Please be sure to close all applications running on your system before starting the installation.

1. Please insert the Wireless Dock Setup CD into your Macintosh computer.

2. CD-ROM icon (WirelessDockCD) is displayed on your desktop. Open the CD-ROM icon and double-click DSSetup.

3. Startup menu is displayed. Click Application Installation.

   

4. The Dock Link Install screen is displayed. Click Continue.

   

5. Read the SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT and click Continue.

   

6. Click Agree.

   

7. Select a destination volume ( In the case below, select Macintosh HD ) and click Continue.

   

8. Click Install.

   

9. Administrator authentication screen is displayed. Enter Name and Password, and then click OK.

   
   
   

   Please enter the Name and Password of local administrator.

10. After confirmation message appears, close all other applications running on the system and click Continue Installation.

    

11. The installation is completed. Click Restart to restart the computer.

    

Dock Link is installed to Applications folder in the destination volume ( Macintosh HD ). Please confirm the installation of Dock Link after the computer is restarted.
