Silex Technology Announces Commercial Availability of the SX-ND4050G Network Display Adapter (NetDA™)

Enables high definition monitors, electronic whiteboards and touchscreen displays to be connected and shared on a wired or wireless network

SANTA ANA, California, February 26, 2013 –Silex Technology America, Inc., a global leader in wired and wireless networking solutions, today announced the immediate availability of the SX-ND4050G Network Display Adapter (NetDA™). The NetDA allows wireless or wired network connectivity to interactive display systems from USB-equipped devices, such as a personal computer, for a more collaborative meeting experience. Users can view, modify and store the interactive display system’s digital content on their computers with full high definition (FHD) video quality and fast data transfer speeds enabled by using wired Gigabit Ethernet or wireless IEEE 802.11n networking standards. The NetDA also offers wired or wireless network interactivity between two interactive display systems.

“The Silex NetDA is a welcome addition to our Strategic Technology Alliance Resource (STAR) product offering, enabling Sharp AQUOS BOARD™ interactive display systems to be wirelessly connected with dual-board collaboration," said Gary Bailer, director of Product Planning and Marketing for Sharp’s Pro AV Products.

Silex is a proud member of the Sharp Strategic Technology Alliance Resource (STAR) directory of third-party products and services that complement the professional display products offered by Sharp. Silex offers value added connectivity accessories allowing users to connect and share their devices on a wired or wireless network such as Sharp AQUOS BOARD™ interactive displays, multifunction printers and scanners. Silex wireless connectivity offers the same functions that are available with a direct cable connection for video, audio and USB.

“Silex is addressing the growing market demand for connecting high resolution digital displays capable of full HD video and touchscreen devices so they may be shared across a wired or wireless network,” according to Joseph Virginia, vice president of sales at Silex Technology America. “Building on our strengths in audio visual connectivity and USB device connectivity, the NetDA affords users a more interactive and collaborative environment with their digital displays.”
